SUGAR SPICED SALMON - a quick, healthy, and super flavorful way to spice up your salmon routine (and your life 😉). This is an oldie but goodie recipe on the blog inspired by the salmon I always order at a cute restaurant in Del Mar @pacificadelmar. Throw a bunch of spices in a jar (recipe 👇🏼), and then when you’re ready to make your salmon, all you have to do is sprinkle it on top, rub it in, bake it, and dinner is ready! It makes a big batch and will definitely last you several salmon dinners! Super easy and delicious! Sugar Spice Rub: 1/2 cup coconut sugar 1 teaspoon dry mustard 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon paprika 2 teaspoons cocoa powder 1/2 cup chili powder 4 tablespoons ground cumin 1 tablespoon ground black pepper 3 tablespoons kosher salt + wild salmon fillets 1. Mix together all rub ingredients in a jar or tupperware. 2. When you're ready to make the salmon, preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet. 3. Rub 1-2 tbsp of the Sugar Spice Rub into the fillets. Bake for 15-20 minutes depending on the size of your fillets. (Internal temp should be 140°F). Enjoy!
