One of my fave nostalgic childhood desserts! 🍌🍫 these frozen chocolate covered banana pops such a fun and refreshing way to beat the heat and they couldn’t be easier to make! Get creative with your toppings, add a sprinkle of sea salt if you love that salty sweet combo, and enjoy!

1 cup chocolate chips

1 tbsp coconut oil

1 whipped topping

4 banana

Instructions

1. Slice bananas in half, then stick a popsicle stick through the bottom/center of each.
2. Melt chocolate and coconut oil in a double boiler or in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring each 30 seconds until liquidy and smooth.
3. Dip the bananas in the chocolate, holding the melted chocolate at an angle to fully coat the banana. You may need to use a spoon to pour chocolate over any hard to reach areas. Let excess chocolate drip off.
4. Sprinkle toppings over the chocolate. Add salt if desired.
5. Place on a baking sheet lined with a silicone mat or parchment paper.
6. Freeze for at least 2 hours to set. Enjoy!
