Instructions

1. Combine all ingredients except the alcohol in your instant pot or slow cooker and give it a good stir. Set to slow cook on high for 2 hours. (In a rush? Pressure cook it for 10 minutes.)
2. When it’s time to serve, pour 1.5 oz whiskey or bourbon in a mug. Open up your slow cooker and stir well, then ladle the mixture over the whiskey (making sure not to serve any cloves in the mugs — you can also strain those out). Keep the slow cooker on low or “keep warm” as you serve.
3. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and a couple lemon slices. Enjoy!
